Safety Policy
Atomic Recruitment is committed to protecting the health, safety and welfare of all employees, contractors and candidates who are at, or who may be affected by, its work sites. At Atomic Recruitment, safety is not negotiable and all employees and contractors are responsible for their own health and safety and the health and safety of others including colleagues, contractors and visitors in the workplace.

Atomic Recruitment recognises our clients' shared responsibility for the welfare of our temporary employees and contractors that work on their premises.

Atomic Recruitment will apply a risk management approach through effective implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) and the ongoing integration of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) best practice into all aspects of recruitment and internal operations.

The implementation of this OHS Policy will be guided by Atomic Recruitment's values to respect people, deliver excellent service, be open and honest and be willing to learn, share and change. Compliance with this policy and supporting procedures by all Atomic Recruitment employees, contractors and visitors is the minimum standard required.

Atomic Recruitment is committed to:

  • Compliance with OHS legislative requirements.
  • Providing appropriate training to all Atomic employees, temps and contractors regarding their duties and obligations under OHS legislation.
  • Ensuring our clients have adequate OHS policies and comply with all relevant guidelines in order to protect the welfare of our temporary and contract employees while on site at a client's premises.
  • Establishing measurable OHS performance based objectives and targets to provide continuous improvement aimed at eliminating work-related illness and injury.
  • Maintaining an effective injury management program to minimise the long-term impact of any workplace injury, illness or disability.
  • Promoting a consultative environment encouraging employees, contractors and other relevant parties to make decisions about processes that impact workplace health and safety.
  • Effectively communicating OHS information, including the requirements of this policy, to employees, contractors, clients and visitors in the workplace.

  • Atomic Recruitment is thus committed to ensuring compliance with the requirements of New South Wales' state Occupational Health and Safety Legislation as well as any other relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice.
